WATCH: Gareth Bale celebrates his first MLS goal for Los Angeles FC

After making his debut for the club last week against Nashville FC, Bale was introduced in the 65th minute by LAFC.

Former Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale scored his first goal in Major League Soccer (MLS) in just second appearance for Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC). The 33-year-old winger executed a pinpoint finish in the 83rd minute against Sporting Kansas City.

After making his debut for the club last week against Nashville FC, Gareth Bale was introduced in the 65th minute when LAFC had already scored a goal. The Welshman scored a stunning goal to finish off a counter attack along side Cristian Arango.

Gareth Bale scored the winning goal and helped his team to secure three points with 2-0 win over Kansas City on Saturday at Children’s Mercy Park. The Wales international celebrated his first goal for the club with his teammates and the supporters cheering for the star winger.

After the match, Gareth Bale said, “Obviously, I think the most important thing is that we won the game, first and foremost. [It’s] nice to come and grab a goal and help the team get the three points. From a personal point of view, it’s nice to get off the mark but more importantly get the three points.”

Earlier this week, Gareth Bale made his debut by coming off the bench in the last 18 minutes in the winning cause of LAFC 2-1 against Nashville FC. After 21 games, LAFC are currently at the top of the Western Conference table.
