Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar uses his time on social media to share messages of social relevance. While he also uses the platform to connect with his fans and share important updates relating to his life and career, he also uses it to increase awareness about issues like water scarcity and gender equality.

In his latest social media post, Tendulkar has shared a video in which girls and boys can be seen playing cricket together. The legendary cricketer stated that sport can enable gender equality. He was impressed at the visuals in which the girl can even be seen getting the wicket of the batter who was a boy.

Tendulkar claimed that the video was from the MIG Club in Mumbai.

"Wonderful to see girls & boys play a cricket match together. Sport can be a great enabler for equality. Saw this recently in MIG Club Mumbai. Well done! #CricketTwitter," he captioned the 23-long second video.

Here is the video:

Earlier, the 48-year-old had taken his time to give his inputs to a 5-year-old social media sensation whose batting video had impressed one and all including the legendary Shane Warne. Tendulkar's team had reportedly reached out to the child and the Master Blaster himself gave him a few batting suggestions.

Meanwhile, the former Mumbai Indians captain has joined the franchise's bio-bubble ahead of IPL 2022. He has been available as a mentor to MI players ever since he has retired from the team in the IPL.

The tournament this year is set to commence on March 26 but Mumbai will begin their campaign the day after on March 27 against the Delhi Capitals. The MI vs DC game will played at the Brabourne Stadium and will be the first afternoon match of the season with a 3:30 pm (IST) start.
