Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) all-rounder Glenn Maxwell found a strange way to cool himself down after an intense practice session. The Aussie cricketer is seen submerging his head into a container filled with water. The franchise shared the video on its social media platform.

“How to cool off after an intense practice session, @Gmaxi_32 style,” RCB wrote as the caption of the post.

Big task ahead for Maxwell and RCB

Coming to how the RCB all-rounder has performed this season, Maxwell has been phenomenal in the role he has been assigned. The 32-year-old has fulfilled the responsibilities has been given so far in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. Maxwell has aggregated 228 runs in ten innings of ten matches so far in IPL 2022. He has also taken five wickets at an average of 24 runs. The right-arm offie has been economical as well. He has conceded runs at 7.06 rpo this season.

However, despite these efforts, RCB have put themselves in a dangerous position. They now need a massive win over Gujarat Titans and also need Delhi Capitals to lose their next game if they are to qualify for the play-offs. The Faf du Plessis-led team has won seven out of 13 games played. But their net run rate is significantly negative with them losing a few games by big margins.

After settling scores against Sunrisers Hyderabad, RCB dented their chances with a big loss to Punjab Kings. Bangalore lost the game by a massive 52 runs to see their net run rate going down to -0.323. They have been displaced by DC at No.4 who have the same points but a much better net run rate (0.255). To win the game against GT by a big margin, RCB’s big three including Glenn Maxwell needs to fire big.
