Glenn Phillips is enjoying a superb run of form in the ongoing Vitality Blast T20 competition. The Gloucestershire cricketer has played 6 innings so far and has already accumulated 266 runs at a strike rate of 176.15. And on Friday, it was Glamorgan, who was at the receiving end of a superb T20 innings from Phillips as Gloucestershire registered a comfortable 34-run win. The right-handed batter hammered an unbeaten 94 off just 41 balls much to the delight of the home crowd at Bristol.

Although his entire innings looked more or less like a highlights package as he scored nine fours and six sixes in his innings during which he was striking at 229.27, one particular shot off the bowling of Dan Douthwaite has got the internet talking. Notably, in the fifth ball of the 18th over, Phillips played an unbelievable reverse scoop, switching his hands, getting into position and smashing the ball sailing over third man ropes. The ball went into the apartment complex behind the ground.
