Jeremy Livolant scored a long range volley to help Guingamp win the match in the closing stage in the French second division clash against Laval over the weekend. The 40-yard stunner by Livolant has a huge potential to win the Puskas Award this year.

Guingamp and Laval both won their respective opening games and faced each other to clinch the top spot in the Ligue 2 standings.

During the Ligue 2 clash, Guingamp were awarded a free kick in the 73rd minute when both teams were neck and neck after scoring a goal each. The free-kick taker of Brittany-based French club attempted to deliver the ball in the box, which was headed away by host team's defender.

The clearance by Laval's defender found Livolant who stepped back and fired a stunning volley into the top corner to give his team the much-needed lead in the game.
