Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya is not wasting any opportunity to draw the attention of the national selectors. While he has been out of the national team since the T20 World Cup last year owing to a combination of form and fitness concerns, Hardik has looked at his athletic best in IPL 2022 so far.
Not only is he batting at number 4 for the Titans but he is even taking the new ball, bowling at late 130 kmph and even breaching the 140 kmph mark. And now in the ongoing match against Punjab Kings, Hardik even produced a great moment on the field. In the 4th ball of the 9th over the PBKS innings which was being bowled by Titans' spinner Rashid Khan, Liam Livingstone smashed a shot on the on side which seemed to be going for the six.
However, Hardik Pandya not only reached there after covering some distance but for a brief moment, it seemed that he had taken a great catch. Livingstone, in fact, had gone to the dugout but after seeing on the big screen that Hardik's shoe had touched the ropes, the batter came back to bat with a smile on his bat.
