The contest between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders has been nothing short of action as fans have witnessed some delightful shots by the MI batsmen. While skipper Rohit Sharma has been playing the role of an anchor, Suryakumar Yadav launched a serious assault against KKR bowlers in Chennai.

SKY brings up his fifty in 32 balls

The right-handed batsman came to bat with MI's score reading 10/1 in 2 overs. However, SKY did what he is known for as he counter-attacked the opposition. While he played some unbelievable shots during his explosive knock, there was one beautiful hit that left everyone in awe. Against a length delivery from Pat Cummins, Suryakumar Yadav played a mesmerizing flick shot over deep square. It made a cracking sound off the bat as the ball went 99 metres away, towards the roof of Chepauk Stadium.

SKY's innings, unfortunately, came to an end after he tried to smash another six off the bowling of Shakib Al Hasan. The right-handed batsman made 56 runs off 36 deliveries and set up a solid platform for Mumbai Indians.
