In the ongoing final clash of the league stage in the Women's World Cup between India and South Africa, Harmanpreet Kaur shone with the both the bat & ball. The India all-rounder scores 48 off 57 deliveries and two crucial wickets and three epic run-outs. However, all her efforts went in wain as India Women lost the game by 3 wickets.

After losing Lizelle Lee's wicket quite early in the game, Laura Wolvdaart and Lara Goodall had built up a 125-run stand to put their side in a commanding position. However, Harmanpreet Kaur stunned South Africa's top-order batter in the second innings of the game. First, she inflicted Lee's wicket with a direct throw, then she completely surprised top-seeded batter Laura Wolvaardt with a beautiful turn.

It was the 28th over of the game when Woolvardt was cruising ahead on her exceptional batting potential. Kaur bowled an absolute ripper by tossing up the bowl. However, the South Africa batter tried to press forward, but the ball past the inside edge and went on to hit the off-stump. The bails lit up with Woolvardt departing after adding up 80 runs on board.

However, that was not it from Kaur, but after seven overs, Kaur struck yet another South African batter and trapped Sune Luu leg before the wicket. Indian allrounder bowled tossed up delivery, and Luus went forward to work on the delivery but got beaten on inside edge. The ball hit the front pad, and the third umpire who was requested for the final decision stamped Kaur's authority in the contest. Luus returned with 22-runs in her account and South Africa's scorecard reading 182-4 in 36.1 overs.

South Africa Women however, thumped their authority in the death over and clinched the game by three wickets.
