India struggled against the defending champions England as they lost by four wickets in the 15th match of the 2022 ICC Women’s World Cup. The India Women's batting once again suffered a collapse as they were all out for 134 in 36.2 overs. The England team had a similar innings as they lost six wickets but still managed to get their first win of the 2022 World Cup.

But one of the top moments from the match came from India vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur. The 24th over of the second innings saw Amy Jones slogging Rajeshwari Gayakwad’s ball over mid-on but miss timed the shot. Kaur sighted the ball, ran back and pulled out a blinder of a catch while falling back to dismiss Jones.

Watch Harmanpreet Kaur’s insane catch:

Kaur scored 14 runs from 26 balls in this fixture with the help of two boundaries but was dismissed by Player of the Match, Charlotte Dean. The 21-year-old off-spinner took four wickets from eight overs while only giving up 23 runs.

In the post-match press conference, Charlotte Dean was elated after receiving the Player of the Match award. She said, “I don't have words to say, we're very happy, to have come back from three disappointing games and win today, I'm very happy. I just tried to keep it simple, try and build some pressure, and that worked well. When you're bowling with Sophie (Ecclestone), it makes things easier, she's an exceptional player and has shown a lot of trust in me. This is for you (family and friends).”
