The contest between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore did finish as a one-sided affair with Virat Kohli's side winning the match by 10 wickets. However, things were not as easy for RCB in the first innings as it seemed like in the end. After RR were down to 43/5, the duo of Shivam Dube and Riyan Parag stitched a valuable partnership to get the men in pink back into the contest. Both the players had started to launch an assault on RCB bowlers and had put the opposition in a state of bother. The tempers were certainly rising as the fans saw in 14th over of first innings.

What happened between Patel and Parag?

Rajasthan Royals had made a decent recovery from the early collapse as the score read 104/4 in 13 overs. After Dube got a single off the first delivery of Harshal Patel's over, Riyan Parag produced the shot of the match on the next ball. It was Dhoni-esque helicopter shot as the RR batsman smashed the ball for a boundary towards mid-wicket region.

While the fans were in awe of the shot, Harshal Patel was certainly not impressed. The purple-cap holder looked visibly frustrated as he went back to this run-up to bowl the next delivery. He delivered a fast fullish-length delivery as Parag tried to play a cheeky scoop shot. However, he got nowhere close to what he wanted to do as the ball flew off the edge towards third man where Yuzvendra Chahal took a comfortable catch. The RCB bowler was indeed delighted with the wicket as he gave an angry send-off to young Parag.
