What followed afterwards was a testimony of Rohit's popularity in the country and how much cricket fans adore their captain. As per the video on social media, hundred of cricket fans gathered outside the hotel to take a glimpse of their favorite cricketer.
The video which has gone viral on social media shows cricket fans standing outside the hotel while the Indian skipper stands amuse as he appears on the exit gate. After seeing the magnitude of cricket fans, Rohit was humbly asked by the hotel management to remain inside the hotel till the security dispersed the crowd from outside.
