Ireland fast-bowler Joshua Little has been in dazzling form off-late in the ongoing ODI series against the Netherlands. After registering an impressive three-wicket haul in the opening encounter, the 21-year-old was at his absolute best once again today as he finished with figures of 4/39 in his quota of 10 overs. The Netherlands were dismissed at a paltry total of 157 and Little was the star of the show. While it was an exception spectacle of fast bowling by the youngster, there was one moment that stood out in the first half of the match.

Little bowls a peach of a delivery

The moment came in the 18th over of the innings when Joshua Little decided to come from round the wicket. The left-arm pacer bowled a good-length delivery angling in before just nipping past away smashing the off stump of Max O'Dowd. The Netherlands batsman was left in shock as he had no answer to this peach of a delivery from the Irish bowler. "Bowling coaches ask you to hit the top of off, Josh Little has delivered," said the on-air commentator as he was left in awe of the youngster's brilliance.

Zaheer Khan was the king of the art from bowling round the wicket

Joshua Little's mesmerizing delivery was a reflection of what India's speedster Zaheer Khan used to do during his illustrious career. The former left-arm pacer had mastered the art of bowling from round the wicket as he used to trouble the batsmen while bowling from that angle. While he castled the stumps of opposition batsmen many times while bowling from round the wicket, he took a very similar wicket (as Joshua Little's dismissal today) years back against South Africa.

Joshua Little would be certainly proud of doing something very similar to the legend of left-arm bowling and he would want to be as consistent and as lethal as Zaheer Khan throughout his career.
