Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in world cricket going at the moment. He has conquered global cricket in a very short span. The best thing about the India spearhead is that he is equally good in all three formats of the game. While he surprises everyone with his accuracy in red-ball cricket, his variations are too hot to handle in the shortest format of the game.
However, like some greats of Indian cricket, Jasprit Bumrah was having a dry run in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the first ten games of the season, Bumrah had only taken five wickets. He was also leaking runs and it seemed he has lost his potency with the ball. But the right-arm quick made a roaring comeback in his team's game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The Mumbai Indians pacer looked like a different bowler altogether as he bowled some sharp deliveries in the middle. He took five wickets in the game at the expense of just ten runs from his four overs. The best over from Bumrah came in the 18th over of the KKR innings as the speedster took three wickets and did not concede a single run.
On the very first delivery of his over, Bumrah accounted for Sheldon Jackson with quick short-pitch delivery. He made beautiful use of the short-ball as he got Cummins too in almost the same manner. The fifth wicket of the game for the speedster on the very next ball as he got Sunil Narine with a short ball yet again.

Bumrah reigns supreme against Dre Russ!
After Shreyas Iyer was dismissed by Murugan Ashwin, KKR management sent Andre Russell in the middle to capitalize on the start provided by the top order. Russell also flexed his muscles as he hit Ashwin for a biggie on the second delivery he faced. With Russell trying to go downtown, MI captain Rohit Sharma tossed the ball to Bumrah. And the pacer did not disappoint.
Bumrah once again got Russell cheaply as he got him caught out at long-on with a hard length ball. From there on, Bumrah kept spitting venom and got four more KKR batters.
