The 2nd Test between South Africa and India saw the home side register a brilliant victory in Johannesburg. Apart from winning the contest on the field, it seemed like they had also conquered the mental battle. During India's second innings, Marco Jansen troubled Jasprit Bumrah with bouncers and also had a war of words during a heated moment with his counterpart.

Unfortunately, it did not turn out well for India as Bumrah lost his wicket a few deliveries later and did not look the same lethal bowler as he is, during South Africa's run-chase. As a result, the Proteas won the match and made the series 1-1.

Bumrah gets his revenge in Cape Town

However, the beauty of cricket is that you always get a chance to take your revenge! Something very similar happened on Day 2 of the 3rd Test when South Africa had a mini-collapse in the second session. Marco Jansen came in to bat and as expected, Kohli ensured that Bumrah gets a chance to get a go at his former Mumbai Indians teammate.

The pacer fired in a flurry of bouncers before hitting Jansen with a deceived good-length delivery. The battle was on and both the players were doing their best to win the contest. But this time, Bumrah was on song and he was in the middle of a lethal spell. And at the stroke of tea, BOOM BOOM struck!

He bowled a peach of a delivery which pitched just outside off-stump and tailed back in at the last moment, smashing the off-stump of Jansen. The revenge was finally completed and Bumrah celebrated it in his own style! Instead of saying anything, the pacer just gave a deadly stare to the youngster which was just an astonishing sight to watch for the viewers.

Fans react after Bumrah wins his battle against Jansen

In no time, the netizens flooded social media with Tweets following Jasprit Bumrah's moment of redemption. While one user stated that it had to happen considering the sequence of events that took place in the previous Test, some fans sarcastically stated that it would be a good lesson to learn for young Jansen.

Bumrah continued his brilliant bowling after tea as well as he took the crucial wicket of well-set Keegan Petersen. At the time of writing this copy, the pacer had taken 4 wickets with South Africa reeling at 179/8.
