WATCH: Jonny Bairstow gets out in most disastrous manner against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2021

While no bowler could really manage to dismiss him, he got out in a bizarre way.

The 9th game of IPL 2021 between Mumbai Indians (MI) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) witnessed a bizarre incident on the ground. The strange moment came in form of Jonny Bairstow's dismissal. The English wicketkeeper-batsman, who was firing all cylinders since the beginning of the SRH innings, met a tragic end. Bairstow's quick-fire knock (43 off 22) got limited as he hit his stumps from his leg.

SRH openers David Warner and Bairstow started their chasing in a great way where Bairstow took the charge and Warner happily played the second fiddle. The duo, especially Bairstow, were looking absolutely comfortable in the middle. While no bowler could really manage to dismiss him, he got out in a bizarre way. He went deep in the crease to hit the slog sweep but ended up hitting the stumps with his back foot.
