The 30th match of IPL 2022 is being played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Brabourne Stadium. After winning the toss, KKR's captain Shreyas Iyer opted to bowl but his plan did not work the way he would have wanted. RR opening duo of Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal got their team to a flying start as they played some cracking shots in the middle.

Apart from finding timely boundaries, the duo also ran hard between the wickets. But rarely does one get to see four runs by running between the wickets on Indian grounds. However, Buttler and Padikkal made it possible against KKR on Monday. In the third over of the RR innings, Padikkal and Buttler accumulated four runs on a single delivery by running between the wickets. '

On the last ball of the third over, Umesh Yadav bowled a good length delivery which was punched beautifully by Buttler towards the point region. The timing was so good on the ball that it started racing towards the boundary. But Venkatesh Iyer did a terrific job to stop the ball from touching the ropes. However, by the time KKR bowlers could throw the ball to the wicketkeeper and thus Buttler and Padikkal sneaked four crucial runs.
