The major reason behind Rajasthan Royal being pretty much alive in the IPL 2022 Playoff race is the form of their opener Jos Buttler and that of their spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. While Buttler has already scored 3 centuries and is currently the orange cap holder, Chahal too has made his presence felt in the wickets column big time and is the leading wicket-taker for his franchise.

However, at the RR nets, a role reversal was done. While Chahal took the bat, it was Buttler who was bowling to him. Although the Indian leg-spinner enjoyed his time with the bat, screaming four runs after many of his shots, he did not hit the last ball from the middle of his bat when Buttler had warned Yuzi that 4 were needed from the last delivery.

However, even then Chahal cheekily said "four runs" to which Buttler responded: "That's a six I think." Later it was revealed that Chahal was being called names like "Mr 360".

While the Men in Pink are currently at the third position on the points table, they have still not secured qualification in the Playoffs and would ideally want to win their remaining 2 matches. They have a match to be played against second-placed Lucknow on May 15 and another one against ninth-placed Chennai on May 20.

"Very disappointing night. We were few runs short, and few wickets short in the middle. While we were batting the wicket was two-paced. We were 15-20 runs short. While bowling second we dropped a few catches," RR captain Sanju Samson said after the match against Delhi Capitals where they were restricted for 160/6 and Delhi chased it down in 18.1 overs with 8 wickets in hand.
