Rajasthan Royals will meet Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022 final. While they were up against an upbeat Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022 Qualifier 2 who had beaten Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator game while the Men in Pink had lost to Gujarat in Qualifier 1, they learned from their defeat in that game and implemented it in this fixture to register a thumping win.

Jos Buttler was the chief architect of Rajasthan's victory. The England star scored his fourth hundred of the season to reach the target of 158 in 18.1 overs. Not only was his performance dominating but Buttler made sure that he made it a spectacle as he finished the match with a six.

In the first ball of the 19th over when Rajasthan needed 3 runs from 12 balls and had 7 wickets in hand, Buttler did not shy away from going for the glamour shot. It helped that Harshal Patel had dug this ball short and Buttler had picked the length early as the right-handed batter Buttler backed away and pulled this over wide long-on region for a six that brought enormous joy to the Rajasthan fans.

Here is the match-winning shot:

This is Rajasthan's first entry into the final after the inaugural season in 2008 when they had gone on to become the champions.
