After a horrendous start, the Sunrises Hyderabad looked like one of the most dominant teams in the 2022 IPL. They lost their two opening matches and then went on to win four-straight games. Celebrating this achievement SRH captain and top-order batter Kane Williamson had a special performance planned for his team.

Williamson along with Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad and Glenn Phillips started a boy band called ‘The Hydera-Boogie’ and performed a song inspired by Billy Joel’s "We didn’t start the fire" called "We are the Sunrisers".  The song started off with the lyrics, “ We are the SunRisers; We are from Hyderabad, We love Biryani, And our fans are called the Orange Army…”

The song continues by thanking all the members of the coaching staff, the players, the physios, net bowlers and the management. The Sunrisers Hyderabad Twitter account posted this video which was captioned, “The new #SRH band ?, A special song from Kane Mama and co. at SunRisers Got Talent?#KaneWilliamson @AidzMarkram @glenndominic159 @ABDULSAMAD__1 #OrangeArmy #ReadyToRise #TATAIPL”

“I want to get Virat Kohli out,” Malik

The Orange Army will now face the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a 2016 IPL final rematch where Hyderabad came out on top. Heading into this fixture, Sunrisers’ newest fast-bowling sensation Umran Malik has some special plans for this game. Malik while talking to one of the media houses revealed that he wants to dismiss Virat Kohli.

He said, “KL Rahul was one. We had a match against them. I really wanted to get him out. But next match we have against RCB so I want to get Virat Kohli out. I'm a big fan of both of them,” he said.

“Virat Kohli spoke to me and told me to work on my bowling and fitness. He told me to work hard and once you do that the India cap is not too far away. He said I will get my chance when the time comes,” Malik added.
