Ever since the IPL 2021 festivity has begun, the fanatics have witnessed some sharp and outstanding catches. To add more to the list, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Eoin Morgan took a stunning catch to dismiss Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni. Morgan not only dismissed Dhoni, but also saved much required 4 runs for his side who have been thundered down by the CSK batting line-up.

As Andre Russell was given the bowl in the 19th over, MS Dhoni decided to take on the West Indian all-rounder and secured 15 runs off his first 5 balls. On the last ball, Russell bowled a wide delivery which MS Dhoni smacked at extra cover. However, Morgan's heroic effort overshadowed that of Dhoni as the KKR skipper dived towards his left and took a stunning catch to put an end to Dhoni's roller-coaster knock.

With CSK looking like a much-improved side in the IPL 2021 edition as compared to the previous one in UAE, Faf du Plessis has led the charge for CSK in this innings scoring 95* off just 60 balls, including 9 fours and 4 sixes.

None of Eoin Morgan’s bowlers conceded less than 8 runs per over, except Varun Chakravarthy. Talking about MS Dhoni, he surprised his fans by coming second down. However, he couldn't add much to the scoreboard as he lost his wicket after scoring 17 runs off 8 balls, including a huge six to Prasidh Krishna in the 18th over. MS Dhoni hitting a six at Wankhede Stadium might have given Indian cricket fans a deja vu. Having said that, CSK openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf Du Plessis added 115 runs in 77 balls, making the total reach upto 220/3 in 20 overs.
