If the Indian Premier League (IPL) is a platform for youngsters to showcase their skills, it also gives a chance to experienced campaigners to redeem themselves. Kuldeep Yadav has made the best of the opportunity he has got at the Delhi Capitals. The left-arm bowler has consistently performed for his team this season. Whenever Rishabh Pant has tossed the ball to him, he has delivered.
Sunday was no different. Yadav once again proved his worth with the ball as he removed the dangerous-looking Shreyas Iyer. The spinner bamboozled the KKR captain with a brilliant googly. His next victim was KKR's last match hero Pat Cummins. Yadav trapped Cummins LBW. But the best wicket for him came on the next delivery of the same over.
As Umesh Yadav walked into bat, Kuldeep Yadav fed him a tossed-up delivery. The batter tried to muscle it for a maximum but could only manage to top edge it. As there was a lot of power behind, the ball went up really high in the air and towards the midwicket region. Both Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav ran for the catch. But it was Yadav who never lost sight of the ball and pouched it cleanly to get rid of Umesh Yadav.

Kuldeep shines in IPL 2022
The left-arm spinner has looked like a different bowler altogether from what he had looked in the last two seasons. Yadav had a dreadful season with KKR as he was seen warming benches for most of the games. However, the Delhi Capitals have made very good use of Yadav and he has not disappointed the management at all. He started the season on a high with a 3-wicket haul against Mumbai Indians.
He then took one wicket against Gujarat, two against Lucknow, and now took a 4-fer against KKR. He has now a total of 10 wickets in IPL 2022 and leads the Purple Cap race with Umesh Yadav.
