After an extremely busy last three weeks in Formula One, all the drivers have finally got a much-needed break ahead of the British GP scheduled to take place next week. However, F1 have ensured that the fans will have something to enjoy this week as well as they released the new episode of 'Grill the Grid 2021' on Friday. Having already tested the geographical knowledge of the drivers and team names in previous episodes, the F1 stars were put to a very unique challenge this time around to test how much they know about each other.

In the sport, all the drivers have their designated car numbers which acts as their identity. Considering there are only 20 drivers on the grid who battle it out every other weekend against each other, the fans would believe that they would be aware of each other's car numbers. However, this was not as easy as it looked. While some drivers prospered, some had a horrific time remembering the car numbers of their opponents. Let us have a look at key highlights from the latest episode:

Lewis Hamilton had a tough time

7-times F1 champion Lewis Hamilton certainly did not dominate the game the way he dominates on the track as he had a really tough time recalling the numbers of his counterparts. The Brit opened his account when he gave the correct answer to the car number 5, which belongs to his old rival Sebastian Vettel. While he expectedly guessed his own (#44) and teammate Valtteri Bottas (#77) numbers, the only other two numbers he remembered was of the Ferrari duo of Charles Lecrerc (#16) and Carlos Sainz (#55). Hamilton finished at the bottom of standings with only 5 points, alongside Lance Stroll and Esteban Ocon.

I am good with numbers: Daniel Ricciardo

McLaren's Daniel Ricciardo has had a tough start to the 2021 campaign with a new machinery. As Ricciardo claimed that he is good with numbers, he managed to recall the numbers of as many as 14 drivers on the grid as he has been driving along most of them for years. As it stood, one of the most entertaining drivers on the grid delivered a flawless performance, finishing at top of the standings with 14 points, alongside George Russell, Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel.
