Paris Saint-Germain won the French Ligue 1 after registering their sixth draw of the tournament against the seventh-placed Lens. The match ended in a 1-1 draw where PSG’s goal was scored by the seven-time Ballon D’or winner Lionel Messi. The Argentinian superstar gave the Les Parisiens a 1-0 lead in the 68th minute.

Kylian Mbappe dribbled the ball in a crowd around the right-wing and then passed it to Neymar Jr, who carried it towards the centre. Soon the Brazilian spotted an open Leo Messi, who ran in from the other flank and smashed the ball from outside the box into the left top corner.

PSG held on to the lead till the 88th minute when Lens’ Corentin Jean equalised the score 1-1 sparking a late comeback for the Les Sang Et Or. But soon the match ended with the same score as Les Rouge-et-Bleu claimed their tenth league title.

“The atmosphere is a shame," Marquinhos

After the match, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino addressed the title victory along with a lot of unrest shown by the fans. He said, “We are going through a difficult period with the fans and we hope it will get better. We're in a democracy and we accept all protests. But we have to show respect for this title.”

PSG captain Marquinhos at full-time addressed the poor atmosphere on the ground. He said, “The atmosphere is a shame. Football is our passion. We'll try to have as much fun as possible. It's a shame that won't be with the supporters but we have to deal with it."
