However, the star of the show was a couple who experienced the most beautiful moment of their life in front of 22,000 people at the stadium.

It all happened at the end of 9th over during the first innings. Pakistan had just lost the wicket of Mohammad Hafeez and England had paved their way back into the contest. While the cameraman was expected to focus on Adil Rashid who had just taken a wicket, he instead decided to cover another beautiful moment unfolding in the stands.

What a beautiful moment during final T20I!

As the camera focused on a man wearing England jersey in the stands, he went down on his knees to propose to his partner. The lady was absolutely shocked but delighted to see the sequence of events as she accepted the proposal, took the ring, put it on her fingers and hugged her partner in an emotional moment for the couple.

What made the moment more exciting for everyone was the fact that the footage was being shown with words 'Decision Pending' flashing on the big screen. As soon as the lady said yes, "She Said Yes!" flashed on the big screen as the crowd erupted in a moment of pure celebration.

On-air commentator David Lloyd was quite delighted with what he was seeing as he added cherry on top of the cake with his passionate commentary where he stated, “What’s happening here? Oh hello? Oh! not another! not another! Big screen as well. Jill and Phil, Jill and Phil, decision pending. She said yes.”
