Team India have levelled the five-match series against South Africa after winning the fourth T20I at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. After Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik accelerated India's scoreboard in the first innings to post 169/6, South African batters crumbled under pressure.

While Indian bowlers made the life of visitors difficult in the middle by taking wickets at regular intervals, South African pacer and lower-order batter Marco Jansen received a serious blow on his head off the bowling of Avesh Khan. It was the 14th over of the second innings when Avesh Khan bowled a bouncer which Jansen tried to pull but missed completely. Avesh picked 3 wickets in this over as India eventually completed an 82-run win.

The blow on the helmet seems to be a serious one as South African physio was once again in the middle, after treating skipper Temba Bavuma at the start of the game. The match was halted for a while as physio got engaged in concussion with a South-African all-rounder. Much to everyone's relief, Jansen was all smiling as Indian players surrounded him to check on him.

Here is the video:

Jansen survived Avesh Khan's delivery, but he got dismissed off the very next delivery while trying to push the ball over the boundary as he was caught by Ruturaj Gaikwad at mid-wicket.
