When Liverpool and Manchester City lock horns with each other, there is no shortage of any drama and entertainment. Something very similar was on display when the two English giants clashed at Anfield on Sunday. A victory for either side could have taken them to top of the Premier League table but just like always, the two teams left no stones unturned in the encounter as match eventually ended in a 2-2 draw.

Although it was goalless at end of first half, it was end-to-end stuff from both sides with Man City looking more likely to break the deadlock. But things started to turn around in second half with the home side playing with more positive intent. And as it happened, Mohamed Salah produced a brilliant through ball in the 59th minute which was brilliantly converted by Sadio Mane.

However, the visitors were in no mood to sit back and wait for their chances as they pushed hard in search of an equalizer. Their efforts finally reaped benefits as Gabriel Jesus found Phil Foden in some space inside the box and the youngster finished emphatically with his left-foot, past Alisson. The score read 1-1 with just over 20 minutes remaining and the game looked like heading towards an exciting finish.

Salah produces a moment of absolute genius

While the fans would have thought that they had seen two glorious goals in the evening, the best was yet to come! In the 76th minute of the match, Curtis Jones found Mohamed Salah outside the box on the right flank. The Egyptian winger was surrounded with Man City players all around and did not have a way to go past them. But magically, Salah turned around and went past a diving Bernardo Silva with ease before dribbling past Aymeric Laporte to smash the ball in the back of net with his right foot.

"A goal to dream of, how has that man managed that," screamed the on-air commentator as no one could believe what they just saw. It was undoubtedly a moment of sheer brilliance and genius by the Liverpool star as Anfield erupted in jubilation.
