Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah has been one of the best performers in the world in the recently concluded month of September. Now, it seems like the Salah only desires to elaborate upon his scoring prowess. On matchday 8, Liverpool were scheduled to play on the road against Watford, wherein the iconic number 11 of Liverpool stole the limelight as he danced around the opposition defensive to score a stunning individual goal.
It was Claudio Ranieri’s first game in charge of Watford and it is safe to say that Robert Firmino and Mohamed Salah took the initiative to spoil the party for the 69-year-old manager. After Liverpool were 3-0 up in the game, the Egyptian striker got the ball within the penalty box of Watford, after which he was quick to establish why he is regarded as the best player in the Premier League at the moment as he made the defenders dance around only to score a miraculous goal in the 54th minute, putting Liverpool 4-0 ahead in the game.

With that goal, Mohamed Salah became the joint highest African goalscorer (104) with Didier Drogba in the Premier League. Although the visitors had stamped their authority since the initial minutes at Vicarage Road, Salah’s goal became the highlight of this particular game. Apart from Salah, Sadio Mane too scored his 100th goal in the Premier League. Whereas Robert Firmino scored his first hattrick for the boys from Anfield since 2018.
Mohamed Salah’s twisted and turned goal against Watford is even regarded better than the one he scored against defending champions Manchester City prior to the international break. The number 11 topped his goal with a rather cool celebration as the Watford fans deservingly cheered the divine finish from Salah, who is nothing short of a ‘Messiah’ at Klopp’s Liverpool at the moment. Having won 5-0 against Watford, Liverpool are now top of the table with 18 points in 8 games.
