India got a much-needed breakthrough early in the innings on Day 5 of the World Test Championship final, bringing them back into the game. Although, there was a delayed start on Day 5 as a slight drizzle was welcomed just minutes before the game was scheduled to start. New Zealand continues to trail by 82 runs with Kane Williamson (19*) and Grandhomme (0*) at the crease.

Mohammad Shami picks up 2 early wickets to put India on top

Indian pacer Mohammad Shami starred for India in the first session of Day 5, dismissing Ross Taylor and then bowling out BJ Watling close to the end of the opening session. With two wickets from Shami and one from Ishant, India are now back into the game.

However, this is what happened in the match, but a different sight was captured towards the end of the session. Southampton weather has been in talks for persistent rains & cold wave. Shami after scalping the wicket of Watling in the 70th over of the innings was back near the boundary. He was seen wrapping himself up in towel to stay protected from the chilled weather.

While he didn’t seem bothered much of this, fans and spectators did get a good laugh and smile on their face seeing him like this.
