Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Mohammed Siraj has struggled with his line and length in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Especially in the death overs, Siraj has leaked a lot of runs. In almost every game he has conceded more than ten runs per over. Apart from bowling expensive overs, Siraj has also failed to take wickets.

On the limited occasions, he has deceived a batsman, he has overstepped. Tuesday evening was no different for Siraj as he conceded 37 runs from his four overs. He remained wicketless for the third consecutive game. The only chance he produced was in the last over of his spell when he deceived Robin Uthappa and got him caught at deep midwicket region. But once again, Siraj had overstepped, and he was denied the wicket.

Dreadful bowling from RCB!

After opting to bowl first, RCB started well as they got rid of Ruturaj Gaikwad really early in the innings. Josh Hazlewood trapped the CSK opener in front of the stumps. Another blow came CSK's way as Moeen Ali was run out after a brilliant effort from Suyash Prabhudesai in the field. But then came Shivam Dube who turned the fortunes around for the defending champions with his mad hitting.

Robin Uthappa also joined hands with Dube to attack the RCB bowlers. While the duo was clinical in their hitting, RCB bowlers were dreadful with their bowling. They were feeding full-length deliveries to the batters which were being hit out of the ground for maximums. Akash Depp and Mohammed Siraj conceded as many as 42 runs in the 17th and 18th over. While Akash Deep ended the innings with bowling figures of 4-0-58-0, Mohammed Siraj gave 37 runs in his four overs with no wicket in the bag.
