The recently-released movie 83 has certainly brought nostalgia among cricket fans all over the country as they get to witness the historic World Cup triumph of 1983 on the big screen. But more than the fans, the film is even more special for the legendary cricketers who have got an opportunity to re-live their memorable journey.

While Ranveer Singh has been praised widely for his performance as Kapil Dev in the movie, there is no doubt that all the other actors have been equally impressive, if not more. From Jiiva's portrayal of K Srikkanth to Jatin Sarna playing the role of late Yashpal Sharma, the acting has been sensational.

Similarly, Saqib Saleem (who played the role of Mohinder Amarnath) was also simply outstanding. The former Indian all-rounder played a very crucial role in the mega event 38 years back and Saleem left no stones unturned to re-create his masterclass on the big screen.

From his batting style to bowling action, the actor delivered a flawless performance. While the fans praised him for his acting, Saleem got the biggest validation when Mohinder Amarnath presented him with his red handkerchief (his famous lucky charm) after watching the actor in 83.
