Ravindra Jadeja’s trademark ‘sword’ celebration upon reaching an important milestone is known to all. Such is the craze of his style among the fans that they all wait desperately for the all-rounder to show his amazing moves with the bat as soon as he gets to his fifty or hundred. However, in the recent hours, Jadeja's celebration has been shadowed by another legend of the game.
Chennai Super Kings posted a video on social media wherein their skipper MS could be seen imitating Jaddu’s sword celebration. The video, which was captured during CSK’s training sessions from IPL 2021, is now doing rounds on social media. In the clip, Dhoni seems enjoying, while imitating Jadeja’s style, sitting alongside CSK teammate Robin Uthappa somewhere in the dugout. The franchise aptly captioned this video as "S♾️ord ⚔️ ft.Thala ?".

Jadeja inspires Dhoni do more such celebrations
Jaddu was quick to respond to the franchise’s post. The 32-year-old all-rounder promptly suggested Dhoni that he “Should try with the bat” and added a cheeky emoji to it.
Jadeja's sensational run in IPL 2021
Jadeja had a phenomenal campaign in the 14th edition of IPL, with the bat, the ball and his fierce fielding performances. He amassed 131 runs in 7 games with a strike rate of over 161. The all-rounder also picked 6 wickets at an economy of 6.70 helping Dhoni-led CSK to dominate the season, before IPL 2021 was suspended in early May.
Jadeja will be traveling to Mumbai by May 19 to join Team India’s bio-bubble before leaving for England for the World Test Championship final against Kane Williamson’s New Zealand at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton, starting June 18.
