The 'El Clasico' of IPL 2021 on Sunday produced quite a lot of exciting moments which the fans have been waiting for quite a long time. From Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar showing their magic with the new ball to Ruturaj Gaikwad producing a batting masterclass, these were the kind of things that everyone has seen on numerous occasions in the tournament. However, there was something rare also which everyone got to witness on the return of the Indian Premier League.

In a shocking incident during the match, CSK skipper MS Dhoni - who is often referred as captain cool - showed his angry side. It all happened in the 18th over of Mumbai Indians' innings when the match was poised in a very interesting situation. The only player that was standing between Chennai and a win was Saurabh Tiwary, who was the last recognized batsman left in the middle.

Miscommunication between Dhoni and Bravo results in dropped catch

As MI were looking for some quick runs, the left-handed batsman tried to hit a cheeky shot but the ball found a leading-edge as the ball skied up high in the air. The ball was going straight into the hands of Dwayne Bravo who was standing at the short fine-leg region.

However, since MSD had the gloves in his hands, he ran after the ball to catch it. Both the players had their eyes only on the ball and the catch was dropped as a result of the miscommunication between the duo.

This is when Dhoni lost his cool as he instantly fumed at Dwayne Bravo, who also looked visibly disappointed with the CSK captain coming in his way. Although it was quite strange to see Dhoni in such anger, it was understandable considering the fact that it could have been a match-turning moment.

Fortunately for CSK, the incident had no impact on the final result as they went on to defeat MI by 20 runs in the end. And much to the happiness of all fans, there was no love lost between the two experienced cricketers with the duo having a fun chat about the incident while walking off the field after the end of the match.
