After losing four matches on trot, Chennai Super Kings finally registered their maiden win the tournament. More joy came as their win happened against former teammate led Faf du Plessis Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Earlier during the day yesterday when CSK was handed another major blow after star player Deepak Chahar sustained another injury, the team on the other hand received a sigh of relief as they opened their account in the points table.

Amidst this, a sight which caught the eyeballs was MS Dhoni talking to left-arm seamer Mukesh Choudhary. The 25-year-old who had a dream start to the tournament, dismissing Virat Kohli for 1 dropped two easy catches as the game progressed.

Choudhary dropped the catches of Prabhudessai & Dinesh Karthik off Dwayne Bravo & Mahesh Theekshana’s bowling. But as Theekshana dismissed Shahbaz, MSD rather than celebrating the fall of wicket went straight to Mukesh and spoke some encouraging words.

Seeing this, fans did not shy away from hailing the former CSK skipper. Here is how Twitter reacted to MSD’s gesture:

The Ravindra Jadeja-led side got their first win, defeating RCB by 23 runs. However, the team had to face some sort of struggles in between, it was Robin Uthappa (88) and Shivam Dube (95*) who unleashed the attack to help the side post 216 on board. Skipper Ravindra Jadeja (3/39) and Mahesh Theekshana (4/33) were the pick from the bowlers during the team’s chase in the second innings.
