As MS Dhoni celebrates his 40th birthday on Wednesday, the fans have been wondering what the former Indian captain is up to on the special occasion. As the captain cool is not that active on social media, there were no activities around his birthday on Instagram accounts of his wife and daughter either. But the craze and love for Dhoni in India is way beyond his imagination as well. Just to get a glimpse of MSD on his special day, some fans got lucky as they managed to send the wishes to Thala personally.
Dhoni waves to his fans in Ranchi
In the footage captured by fans in Ranchi, MS Dhoni was spotted driving his 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV (GLC 220d) which has the number plate '0007', reflecting his birth date. As fans surround MSD's car, the 40-year-old can be seen waiting for them to capture pictures and also waved to them before leaving. Notably, Dhoni was following all the COVID-19 protocols in place as he was wearing his mask while driving. The person sitting in co-driver's seat in the car was also wearing mask.

In another footage that was captured by fans, people went outside MS Dhoni's house in Ranchi and wished him on his birthday. As they shouted "Dhoni... Dhoni" just like how fans cheer for him inside the stadium, Mahi (wearing black t-shirt) was seen standing at the terrace as he also waved to his fans, fulfilling their wish. The footages were indeed an icing on the cake for fans who have been waiting to get a glimpse of their idol on his 40th birthday.
