Chennai Super Kings’ skipper MS Dhoni has been centre of attraction during their IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday. After promoting himself to bat at No. 4, the 39-year-old played an entertaining cameo of 17 runs off 8 balls before losing his wicket. While MSD lost his wicket to a fantastic catch taken by his KKR counterpart Eoin Morgan, he himself produced a dazzling catch when CSK came out to bowl.
MSD proving that age is just a number
During the third over of the innings, in-form batsman Nitish Rana tried to play a leg-glance but made a complete mess of it as the ball scooped up in the air. With Lungi Ngidi coming towards the ball, it looked like he would take charge of the catch. However, CSK skipper Dhoni ran from behind the stumps towards the square-leg region and took a stellar running catch. While the 39-year-old did stumble a bit having lost his balance, he ensured that the ball would stay safely in the gloves.

MSD gave a wry smile after completing the catch as he was also delighted with his effort. The CSK fans would be extremely happy to see Thala putting an all-round show against KKR.
