All the members of the Indian Team were recently involved in an intra-squad simulation practice game ahead of the all-important finals of the World Test Championship. While Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja impressed with the bat, Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma were the star performers with the ball. While all these players were expected to do well, the big surprise came in the fielding department. With the likes of Jadeja, Kohli and Rahane in the mix, head coach Ravi Shastri was most impressed by the team's new member - Winston.

Oh! What a catch: Ravi Shastri

Team India's head coach Ravi Shastri recently shared a video where he can be seen with his new friend in Southampton in the form of an adorable dog named Winston. The 59-year-old spent some quality time with his new buddy on the field where the dog was tasked with some challenging fielding drills. However, Winston came out on top and passed the test with flying colours and Ravi Shastri was certainly left in awe of the fantastic fielding skills on display.

In one of the moments, Winston grabbed a difficult catch on the volley as Shastri exclaimed with joy and said, "Oh! What a catch." Indian skipper Virat Kohli was also quite amazed by the effort and had a few words of praise. Towards the end of the video, the Indian head coach rewards Winston with a tennis ball for his outstanding fielding efforts on the day.
