After an international break, it was time for the Premier League action to return on Saturday. It was a high-voltage game between Chelsea and Leicester City at King Power Stadium which was scheduled to kick off the proceedings for this weekend. With so many star players on display, it was expected to be a high-quality game but no one would have ever imagined the player who would end up scoring the blockbuster goal of the afternoon.

After Ben Chilwell missed a golden opportunity to open the scoring, it was his brilliantly taken corner which was headed into the back of net by Antonio Rudiger in the 14th minute. The Blues were up and running and it was always going to be a difficult task for the home side to pave their way back into the contest. However, they needed to keep the score-line the same to give themselves any chance in the second half.

What a goal by Kante!

However, things did not really go according to the plan for them as they found themselves at the receiving end of some individual brilliance. In the 28th minute of the game, Chelsea's midfielder N'Golo Kante got the ball in the centre of the field and he went off like a tracer bullet towards the goal.

No Leicester player could match his pace and in a few moments, Kante found himself at the edge of box. It was expected that he would pass the ball down the left flank where Chilwell had his hands raised. But the midfield maestro had other plans!

Kante set up himself for a long-range effort and despite the ball being towards his weaker foot, he struck it beautifully with his left foot to smash the ball past Kasper Schmeichel who could not even move as he saw the ball go into the back of the net.

The sensational goal changed the dynamics of the game and Christian Pulisic's goal in 71st minute almost sealed a big win for Chelsea to keep them at top of the table.
