The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is up and running and so is the cricket fever in India. Three league games have been played till now and fans have already started grooving on the ebbs and flows of the biggest T20 league across the globe. It was a super Sunday on 27th as four teams took the field and fought a neck-to-neck battle with each other at two different venues in Mumbai. While Delhi capitals defeated Mumbai Indians in the first game of the first doubleheader of the season, it was Punjab kings who came victorious against RCB at the DY Patil stadium.

The action will now shift to the Wankhede stadium as the two new teams Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will take on each other on Monday evening. While Tuesday will see Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad locking horns at the MCA Stadium in Pune. The Orange Army is prepping for their first battle of the season. Players were seen sweating it out in the nest to turn their fortunes around from the last season.

In the same practice session, Nicholas Pooran tried to spice up things by placing a bet against Umran Malik. The West Indies batter challenged Malik to bowl a yorker and if he succeeded, he would get free dinner from Pooran. And if Malik failed, the tables would turn. The young gun also agreed for the same. But, unfortunate for Umran, he failed to deliver a yorker and had to promise a free dinner to Pooran.

The franchise shared the video of the banter between the duo and asked Pooran if he got the treat or not. "Did Umran buy you dinner as promised, @nicholas_47?" they wrote in the caption.

Notably, Umran Malik was retained by SRH ahead of the mega auction while Nicholas Pooran was bought for a whopping INR 10.75 Crores.
