Bowlers have bowled some remarkable deliveries to take wickets in the game of cricket. It demands a lot of practice, thinking, and perfect execution of the ball to let it pass through the bat & pad. In the ongoing County Championship, an interesting incident is grabbing a lot of limelight as a bowler got a wicket to his name following a comedy of error from the batter.

During a match between Somerset and Hampshire, Mohammad Abbas bowled a length ball just outside the off-stump in 25th over, which the batter Tom Abell defended, but the ball rolled back towards the stumps. The batter tried his level best to stop the ball from hitting stumps, but ended up kicking the ball to stumps and dislodged the bails.

As Abbas got lucky with that wicket, Abell had to take the challenging walk towards the pavilion after adding just six runs from 25 deliveries.

Meanwhile, Somerset could not put in an impressive performance as they lost wickets at regular intervals despite winning the toss and deciding to have a bat first. Craig Overton (44) was the highest score as Somerset bundled out at 211 before the end of the first-day play.

Abbott claimed three wickets in the game and conceded 60-runs in 18 overs, while Abbas, Holland and James Fuller picked two wickets each in the first innings.
