Team India mentor MS Dhoni has a huge fan following not only in India but also across the border in Pakistan. While the Men in Green were India's opponents while the match was on, after the match, members of the Pakistan cricket team were seen picking on the brains of the former India captain Dhoni in the middle.

In a video now going viral, Dhoni was seen interacting with former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik, Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim, as well as skipper Babar Azam after Team India, were completely outplayed by the Men in Green on Sunday.

Although Pakistan had never beaten India in a World Cup game before this, the manner in which they emerged victorious over the Virat Kohli-led side suggested that they did not want to give any chance to the opposition and eventually chased down their target of 152 runs with 10 wickets in hand and 13 balls remaining.

"This is the true story of India-Pakistan cricket outside all the hype and posturing." #SpiritOfCricket #T20WorldCup," ICC captioned the video of Dhoni talking to the Pakistan players.

Following the result, players of the Pakistan contingent were also seen having a chat with India captain Virat Kohli with Mohammad Rizwan even hugging the India captain. Meanwhile, a few of the Pakistan players were even seen clicking a selfie with Dhoni and the entire social media was full of images of Dhoni and Kohli with the Pakistan players.

"Credit to the opposition [for the way they played]. No shame in accepting that a team played better than you. You also don’t go out there being casual. We tried creating pressure but they had answers for the same. We know where we went wrong. We have that clarity. We definitely feel like we can overcome these mistakes," Kohli said at the post-match press conference.

India will now be up against New Zealand in their second match of the Super 12s which they must win to ensure a smooth ride to the semifinals. A defeat to the Kiwis and the world number 2 may even be at the risk of not even securing a place in the final four.
