KKR bowlers and fielders had very little to cheer about in their game against Rajasthan Royals in the 30th match of IPL 2022. Jos Buttler stole the show with his prolific knock of 103 off 61 balls. He was smashing anything and everything coming his way on the field. However, the two-time champions KKR put some control over RR's scoring rate in the last 4-5 overs.
Pat Cummins got the big wicket of Buttler in his last over of the innings. He also combined with Shivam Mavi to produce one of the best catches in IPL 2o22. In the 18th over, Cummins and Mavi showed great composure to pull off a catch of the bowling of Sunil Narine in the long-on region.
On the first ball of the over, Narine fed a full ball to Riyan Parag who tried to smoke it over the ropes. Parag played a lofted shot straight down the ground but could not time it. As a result, the ball was falling short of the boundary rope. Meanwhile, Pat Cummins and Shivam Mavi ran towards the ball from their respective fielding positions.
Cummins got hold of the ball but the momentum was taking him over the ropes. So, he tossed the ball up in the air where Shivam Mavi was alert enough to time his jump to perfection and pull off a one-handed stunning relay catch.

RR at it yet again!
Rajasthan Royals are making a habit of scoring around 200 runs in every second game. In their vert first game, RR scored 210/6 against SRH. They once again crossed the 190-run mark against MI as they put on 193/8. Their third, fourth, and fifth game were aberrations as they could only manage 169/3, 165/6 and 155/9 in their games against RCB, LSG, and GT respectively. RR got their mojo back against Kolkata as the 2008 champions put on 217/5 in their 20 overs.
