The match no. 21 of IPL 2021 between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders was rather short of action as KL Rahul’s side could only manage to post a total of 123 in 20 overs. However, things started to get interesting in the final over as Chris Jordan decided to take on Prasidh Krishna, resulting in some entertainment for the fans.

Krishna vs Jordan in Ahmedabad

Ahead of the crucial contest, a lot of battles were being talked about with Pat Cummins going up against KL Rahul and Sunil Narine’s much-anticipated face-off with Chris Gayle. However, none of these battles actually got going on Monday. Much to everyone’s surprise, the altercation eventually happened between two rather quiet-looking players.

With Punjab Kings struggling to post a competitive total, Chris Jordan smashed two huge sixes off Prasidh Krishna’s bowling in the 20th over. The KKR bowler was expectedly furious with himself and followed it up with a beautifully disguised slower one. Jordan was completely deceived as the ball went on to smash the stumps. Krishna had quite an angry reaction as he looked towards Jordan and both the players exchanged a few words between themselves.

While things did get fired up during the match, both the players came up with valuable contributions for their sides. While Krishna finished with figures of 4-0-30-3, Jordan’s fiery cameo (30 runs off 18 deliveries) helped them get some crucial runs on board.
