The Delhi Capitals opening duo of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan seem to be enjoying each other's company in the UAE. While they had been in splendid form in the first half of the competition, they seem to complement each other well both on and off the field.

Both the batters will also have a point to prove once Delhi's campaign resumes after they were overlooked for a place in the T20 World Cup squad. While Shikhar has been a great player of Indian cricket and has a splendid record especially in ICC trophies, he failed to make it to the XI.

On the other hand, Shaw also was impressive in the limited opportunities he got and was scoring at a brisk rate but in a team studded with opening options like Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul as well as Virat Kohli, both of them failed to convince the selectors that they would fit in.

And now the two are keeping themselves in a positive state of mind as they try to make the best of the remaining matches. In a hilarious video going viral on the internet, Shaw and Dhawan could be seen enacting a musical drama ahead of the competition. While the audio clip is seemingly from a daily soap and appears to be a conversation between two characters, the right-hand, left-hand opening pair danced to it which makes for a hilarious viewing experience.

"Aaj sabji nahi pohe he banenge ??????@shikhardofficial," Shaw captioned the video.

Dhawan is currently the holder of the Orange Cap in the tournament and has scored 380 runs in 8 innings so far at a strike rate of 134.27. Shaw, too, has been among the run-getters and has scored 308 runs in 8 innings and is number 4 in the list of highest run-getters in the season so far. The youngster has made up for fewer runs than his experienced partner with his outstanding strike rate of 166.48.

Capitals will resume their campaign against SunRisers Hyderabad on September 22 at the Dubai International Stadium.
