Liam Livingstone is a beast who can hit massive sixes and the cricketer has shown this over and over again. He put his six-hitting ability on display against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the eleventh match of IPL 2022. Livingstone hit the longest six of the tournament so far off the bowling of Mukesh Choudhary.

The swashbuckling batter was looking to take on every delivery right from the start of his innings. But he activated his beast mode in the fifth over of Punjab Kings' innings. On the first delivery of the over, Mukesh Choudhary bowled a length ball. Livingstone opened his front leg and made some room for himself and whacked the ball over the deep midwicket boundary for a massive 108m six.

Livingston smashes 26 in one over

After smashing this lightning six, Livingston did not stop. The swashbuckling batter punished Mukesh Choudhary for erring in lengths as he aggregated 26 runs off the pacer's over. After starting the over with a mammoth six, Livingston smashed three consecutive boundaries on the third, fourth, and fifth deliveries of the fifth over. He then finished the over with another maximum making it 26 runs in one over.

On the back of Livingston's heroics inside the powerplay, Punjab were able to score 72 runs in the first six overs despite losing two early wickets. Shikhar Dhawan also made some handy contributions after struggling initially. The duo of Livingston and Dhawan continued the onslaught even after the end of the powerplay. On the very first ball of Ravindra Jadeja's over, Livingston stepped out and hit a maximum.

Livingston gets two lives

It seemed like fortune was also favoring the brave on Sunday. Livingston got two lives in his innings before finally getting dismissed. First, he was dropped by Ambati Rayudu off Jadeja's bowling. Rayudu dropped a sitter. The PBKS batter got another life when MS Dhoni failed to hold on to a relatively tough chance off the bowling of Dwaine Pretorious. However, CSK were finally able to get rid of Livingston as Rayudu redeemed himself on the second chance Jadeja produced.
