The third match of the Women’s T20 Challenger between Deepti Sharma’s Velocity and Smriti Mandhana’s Trailblazers saw some good shots played by the Trailblazers batters in the first innings. However, their cause was supported by Velocity fielders as they dropped too many catches.
Both Sabbhineni Meghana and Jemimah Rodrigues got two lives each as Sneh Rana, Radha Yadav, and Ayabong Khaka dropped simple catches in the infield as well in the outfield. However, both Rana and Radha got to redeem themselves as they took the next chances that came their way.
While Sneh Rana got an easy chance while fielding at short fine-leg, Radha Yadav held on to a lovely catch diving forward to dismiss Sophia Dunkley. Standing at long-off, Yadav ran quickly towards the ball and dived to finish the catch with both hands.

Trailblazers finish at 190/5
On the back of some fine batting from Sabbhineni Meghana and Jemimah Rodrigues, the Trailblazers finished their innings at 190/5 in their 20 overs. While Meghana scored 73 off 47 balls, Rodrigues perished after scoring 66 off 44 balls. Hayley Mattews and Sophia Dunkley also chipped in with crucial runs. Mattews got dismissed on the last ball of Trailblazers' innings after scoring a quick 27 off 16 balls while Dunkley got 19 off 8 balls.
