Tennis star Rafael Nadal is still recovering from his foot injury and we haven’t heard from him yet as to when he will return to action. He first missed Wimbledon, then the Olympics and the list continued to the US Open. One thing that’s certain is that he won’t take the court in 2021.

Rafael Nadal is injured but he seems to be enjoying his recovery. Did you guys know that he is good at playing Ping Pong too? No? He is too good. Nadal did not just play a game of Ping Pong against former Formula 1 professional driver Nico Rosberg, but he defeated him. Nadal and Rosberg caught up in Monaco on Nadal’s yacht where the duo played a five-point game which Nadal won 3-2.

Rosberg took to Twitter to share the video of them having fun together. “Ping Pong against @RafaelNadal on his @SunreefYachts. Who's next? Definitely no lack of emotions there...no chance to hide my competitiveness. It was a tight game!! Let’s play again soon, Rafa,” he wrote in the caption.

Keeping everything aside, Nadal has had some serious issues with his right foot. He has been troubled by injuries before but the Spaniard is not so much worried about it and says he has learned to overcome them.

“It is a time that is a bit complicated on a personal and professional level. Honestly, with the illusion of improving and facing a process that is going to be difficult and painful at some point, but that I have to go through to get back in a position to fight for what I want. I am determined to do it,” he had said a few days before during his documentary launch event.

Nonetheless, to give you an update on his recovery, Nadal’s uncle, Toni Nadal, announced that the Spaniard is recovering well and is preparing to return at the Australian Open 2022. Notably, the last time Nadal won the Australian Open was in 2009 when he had defeated Roger Federer in a portentous five-set match.
