The world of tennis witnessed something extremely extraordinary on Sunday at Australian Open 2022. Rafael Nadal, who was unsure about his participation in the tournament few months ago, literally defied all the odds to make it to the finals of the Grand Slam in Melbourne over the course of last few days. He was up against Daniil Medvedev, who had looked unbeatable in the tournament.
As Nadal got set to achieve the unthinkable, his pursuit did not start off in the way he would have hoped for as Medvedev clinched the first two sets to silence the fans. But this is when Melbourne witnessed the Miracle, like never before.

Nadal, with crowd behind his back, completely turned around the match with some mesmerizing tennis. The Spaniard rolled back the years and produced one of the best-ever fightbacks seen in the sport to clinch the championship match 2-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 7-5.
After sealing his 21st Grand Slam title with a brilliant volley, all that Nadal could do was to just give a priceless smile. The Spaniard was in disbelief as he had outdone himself as well on the day when he write a new chapter in history books.
Nadal literally broke into tears few minutes later while celebrating, what he later claimed as one of the most emotional matches he has ever been a part of on tennis court. The tears of joy and happiness on the face of Nadal was just a sight that many people had dreamt of, before the start of tournament, and they certainly got what they had hoped for - A NADAL SPECIAL!
