The ongoing match between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals has been a delightful watch for the fans so far. There have been some scintillating performances at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Monday that has left everyone in awe of the cricketers. After Deepak Hooda's heroics with the bat, Chetan Sakariya pulled off a sensational catch to dismiss Pooran. As the action approached towards the end of dramatic first innings, there was another moment of brilliance on the field.

Rahul Tewatia pulls off a sensational catch

As KL Rahul was close to reaching a brilliant century, he tried to smash a huge six off the bowling of youngster Chetan Sakariya in the last over of the innings. As the ball was sailing over the mid-wicket boundary, Rahul Tewatia showed some brilliant athleticism standing on the boundary rope. The 27-year-old got hold of the ball, tossed it back as he went over the ropes, ran back and grabbed a special catch.

KL Rahul's brilliant innings (91 off 50) ended after the brilliance from Tewatia as Punjab Kings could manage to score one run off the last four deliveries. Although they put up a huge total of 221/6 on the board, it will be really intriguing to see if Tewatia's brilliance can prove to be the difference between the two sides if it ends up being a close contest.
