The level of cricket has been absolutely top-class in IPL 2022 so far. The same is evident in the ongoing match between SunRisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans at Dr DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on Monday. In just the third over of the match, Rahul Tripathi grabbed a great catch to get rid of in-form Shubman Gill who was coming on the back of back to back fifties.
The ball was brilliantly timed by Gill and he should be forgiven for thinking he had hit it for four. But Tripathi, who was stationed in the cover region, completed a flying catch to help Hyderabad pick their first wicket after winning the toss and electing to bowl. The fielder jumped to his left and caught that ball with his outstretched arm. When he took the catch, Tripathi was completely air-borne.

Later, Hyderabad picked another wicket inside the powerplay overs as T Natarajan won the little Tamil Nadu contest against B Sai Sudharsan. However, despite losing two wickets, Gujarat did manage to score over 50 runs in the powerplay, ending the fielding restrictions at 51/2.
Gujarat Titans are unbeaten in IPL 2022 so far while SunRisers Hyderabad have just tasted their first win and only win so far in their last game against Chennai Super Kings.
