While the Indian Premier League has well and truly begun with the Chennai Super Kings handing a defeat to Mumbai Indians in the first match of the UAE leg, Rajasthan Royals are keeping themself relaxed and having some fun before they head into a high-intensity clash. The Jaipur-based franchise are set to face Punjab Kings in their first match post the COVID-19 break on September 21 but for now they are in the musical mood.

In a video shared on their social media, the players travelling either to or from their hotel from the cricket ground in a team bus, are making the best use of their time together by rapping the lyrics of a popular Honey Singh song "Breakup Party". While it is Riyan Parag who seems to be playing the song on a portable speaker through his phone, others have all joined him in singing along with the track.

"Mooooooood ?? #HallaBol | #RoyalsFamily | #reelitfeelit | #reelkarofeelkaro | @yoyohoneysingh" the video was captioned.

Talking about their performance so far, Rajasthan Royals are currently fifth in the points table with 3 wins from 7 matches. They have faced defeat in their other four matches and although they are not too far behind from fourth-ranked Mumbai Indians, the fact that they would continue to be without some of their top overseas stars like Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler could go on to haunt them in the remaining matches.

Having said that, they have included players like Evin Lewis and Tabraiz Shamsi as replacements and that could auger well for them along with some talented domestic players- the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, captain Sanju Samson himself and Riyan Parag.

The team has never won the title after the inaugural season in 2008 where Shane Warne's inspirational leadership led the underdogs to a title win. However, for Samson & Co to repeat their heroics from the first season of IPL, they would have to sort out the issue of consistency and stitch a few wins together taking that momentum into the business end of the competition.
